Tailgate - Debadged.

Wow, It's amazing how a little hard work pays off.  I took off the SLT, the Dealer lettering, and the Ram Head off the Tailgate, quickly cleaned it off with windex to eliminate the excess GooGone which you're never supposed to allow to dry onto paint anyways.  Now I look at it, and it's clean.  

So, of course, I wasn't able to stop there.  I took the Ram Head emblem, sanded it down with 1000Grit Paper, and gave it two coats of Chrysler automotive 'Color Match' paint. It was Metallic. Ooops. Well, after letting the paint dry ( with the heat gun ) I put another coat on. It looks good enough to put back on the Tailgate now. Still need two or three clear coats though.


Conundrum. So its better to sleep on it then look at it again when it's daylight out.
