I know that I'm horrible at keeping my updates fluid, and constant. Work itself mainly keeps me away from doing mods and working on the truck. I'll briefly post a bit of new information for this past week and start discussing my future plans performance wise.
I finally sold my old White 1999 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 on June 29, 2010. A short ownership of 4.5 years, and only 70,000kms in that said time frame. The truck was barely broken in but I was due for an update, and I wanted something newer. Now having that gone, lifts such a weight off my shoulders and stress out of my life. I hope to see the truck in four or five years driving down the road in as good of condition as I sold it in, but with Canadian winter and the Alberta Salt, its tough to say how long things last.
Now, onto the new projected plans.
I'm planning on ordering my new 801 Cast Fastman Throttle body in two weeks, since, not only does it come out of the states, but ordering it late in the month on a credit card is good for delaying the pay due date by nearly a full month, at the same time I'll be ordering up a new K&N Cold Air intake with an Air box to replace the old stock. Finally, I'll hope to take the time nearing the end of July to get some dual exhaust put on. It will either be Flowmaster 40's for the quietness, 50's for the Airflow, or maybe even a Dynomax since they just came up with an internal variable baffling muffler. Looking for the best performance value without the excess noise, but of course, all of it will fit with the dual 4" flat black tips straight out the back.
I hope to make more updates soon. I'm looking at possibly working on painting my Dash Stereo Bezel black soon. I just really hate chrome, inside and out.
